Nike and Cordura are having a very productive season. After P-6000s, Air Max Moto 2Ks and Air Max Plus pairs in the tear-resistant fabric, plus our earlier Vomero 5 Cordura "Camo Green", Highsnobiety spotted a new Zoom Vomero 5 Cordura in "Light Orewood Brown."
It mixes cream-white, beige and grey shades with Cordura paneling and all of the Vomero's usual techy cages and overlays. It's already live on Nike Indonesia for Rp 2,849,000 (about $157), so Asia gets it first. A US release hasn't been announced yet, but with every other Cordura pair landing here, it's a reasonable bet.
Our take: the Vomero 5 is the dad shoe that went to the gym and never came home, and Cordura gives it a little hiking-trip energy too. Earth tones like this are the easiest way to wear one, and the tougher fabric means you can stop panicking about puddles. If you've been waiting for a Vomero that won't look tired after a month, this is it.
