Lil Boat is about to sail into regular stores. After a year of ComplexCon exclusives and friends-and-family pairs that mostly lived on resale sites, Sneaker News reports that two Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Mids are expected to release this Holiday season. First up is this red and royal blue pair, style code IW9834-600. Nike hasn't announced a date or price yet, so treat it as reported and date TBA for now.

The first look came from Jordan Kilgore of Hidden Season, who wore the pair while teasing the brand's upcoming sweats. Team Scarlet leather sits on the base, Deep Royal Blue overlays wrap around it, and thick light exposed double stitching traces every single panel, Swoosh included. Red laces and a red embroidered hit on the heel finish it off. It's the same build as the yellow and black croc pair that people were chasing at ComplexCon, just turned into something you could actually wear to school.

Our take: the stitching is the whole point here. It looks like somebody took apart an AF1 Mid and sewed it back together by hand on purpose, and we mean that as a compliment. Red and royal blue is a classic team look, so it will go with a lot more than you'd think. Sneaker News also says Yachty has been seen in a yellow-on-black version with the same stitching, which may or may not be the second release. Either way, if Nike actually makes enough pairs this time, a lot of people who missed out at ComplexCon are going to be very happy.

We'll update this post when Nike confirms the date and price.
