RHC Ron Herman has a quiet flex coming for the Superstar. According to Ron Herman and Fashion Press, the adidas Originals for RHC "SUPERSTAR 82" releases November 7, 2026 at RHC Ron Herman and Ron Herman "R" stores in Japan, with online sales starting at noon Japan time. It's ¥18,700 in sizes 22.5 to 29. There's no word on a US release yet, but Japanese shop collabs like this sometimes travel, so it's worth keeping an eye on.
The base is the Superstar 82, the version that brings back the early-'80s details of a shoe that started life as a basketball sneaker in 1969. RHC keeps the upper white and switches the Three Stripes and heel tab, normally black, to a soft grey python print. The shell toe is a natural off-white rather than bright white, which gives it a slightly vintage look straight out of the box.
Our take: python on a sneaker usually goes one of two ways, Vegas or very grown-up. This lands firmly in grown-up. The grey keeps the snake from shouting, and the cream toe makes it look like you've owned it for years in the best way. It's the Superstar for someone who irons their T-shirts.
