Nike keeps digging through its basketball closet, and this time it pulled out the Zoom Hyperflight and threw a Safari print all over it. Sneaker Bar Detroit has official photos of the Nike Zoom Hyperflight "Safari" in Black/Summit White-Ice-Total Orange, style code IZ2573-010, set for Holiday 2026 through Nike.com and select retailers at $180 in men's sizing. There's no exact date yet, so we'll update this post as soon as Nike locks one in.
The Hyperflight is still the shoe most people tie to Jason Williams, and it's been quietly returning in a few versions lately, with the SLAM Magazine pair making the most noise. This one is louder by design. The speckled pattern borrowed from the original Nike Air Safari covers almost the entire molded upper, the black cage lines cut through it, and Total Orange hits the collar lining, the small Swoosh and the laces. Underneath, an icy translucent outsole shows off orange pods so the bottom is just as busy as the top.
Our take: putting Safari on a shoe that already looks like it came from the future is a strange pairing on paper, and it totally works. The black base keeps the print from going full zoo, and the orange gives it just enough heat. It's the kind of pair that makes the Hyperflight feel like a real retro again instead of a deep cut only the forum guys remember.
