Somewhere a Taco Bell marketing team just felt a disturbance in the force. Per Sneaker News, Paige Bueckers is lining up another soda-themed Nike GT Cut 4, following this year's "Shirley Buckets" pair with one that takes its cues from Mountain Dew's cult-favorite Baja Blast.
The look is pure fountain-drink: Emerald Rise and Turbo Green wash over the back half of the shoe in that unmistakable tropical turquoise, then fade into a purple toe box that may be a wink at the newer Baja Midnight flavor. Purple laces and a purple Swoosh keep the whole thing feeling like it came with a straw.
Our take: the Dallas Wings star is quietly building the most fun colorway lane in Nike Basketball. The GT Cut 4 shape already looks fast, and a gradient like this is exactly what it was made for. Is it subtle? Absolutely not. Will it look great under arena lights? Absolutely yes.
