Kawhi Leonard has never been the loudest guy in the gym, so it tracks that his fifth New Balance signature shoe keeps showing up in colorways that whisper. The latest is the New Balance Kawhi V "Oxford Blue" (UKLS1MN), which Sneaker News reports is expected for Holiday 2026 at $160 through New Balance and select retailers. New Balance hasn't locked in an exact date yet, so treat it as TBA for now. We'll update this post when it's confirmed.
The name does the explaining. It's a pale, dress-shirt blue almost head to toe: the mesh upper, the suede-look heel, the midsole and even the icy translucent outsole all stay in the same family. The only real break is the reflective silver "N" on the side, plus the Kawhi claw logo stamped on the heel. Underneath, Sneaker News lists dual-density FuelCell foam, a Y-shaped TPU plate, a PU cage for lockdown and multidirectional traction.
Our take: this is the most Kawhi colorway possible. No hype, no drama, just a shoe that looks like it showed up early, ironed. It lands right after a season-opening two-pack, and with New Balance's hoops roster now stretching to Tyrese Maxey, Cooper Flagg and Cameron Brink, it's nice to see the guy who started it all still getting clean, wearable makeups. Light blue on court is a bold choice for anyone who actually plays, though. Keep a sneaker wipe in the bag.
