The 990v7 is soaking up every Made in USA headline right now, but New Balance hasn't forgotten its other dads. The New Balance 993 Made in USA "Shadow Blue" drops on November 5 for $200, and Sneaker News has the official images.
It's part of Teddy Santis' Made in USA Fall/Winter 2026 lineup. The 992 has gotten most of the love this season with three colorways, so this is the 993's lone spot in the capsule, and it makes it count.
The recipe: teal suede and mesh across the upper, brown on the overlays and laces, and the usual white-and-grey ABZORB midsole underneath. The black tongue tag and the "USA" heel badge keep it unmistakably 993.
Our take: grey is the 993's comfort zone, and that's exactly why this one is interesting. Teal and brown sounds like a hotel carpet on paper, but on suede it reads rich and wintry, like a pair built for cold coffee runs and leaf piles. It's colorful enough to stand out and earthy enough to wear with everything you already own. Dads everywhere are about to get a little braver.
