Amber, copper, and a melting sun. New label LM.RT (Liam Maher Rural Tailor) restyles the New Balance 2010 for eth0s, folding the brand’s AW26 “Pockets of Light” narrative — Icarus, copper leaf, and studio amber — into an autumnal runner that sits next to NB’s cleaner classics.

Per LM.RT’s official note, New Balance visited the studio while Maher’s first collection was still mood-boarded — fabric cuttings, dried plants, antique trim — and the talk landed on shared references: Daedalus and Icarus, the “pockets of light” line from My Dinner with Andre, and the 2010’s stacked materials as the right silhouette to extend that lookbook into footwear.
The build layers translucent amber, metallic copper, and nude leather highlights over walnut-brown full-grain leather and technical mesh, with black nubuck and hair-on cavallino zones. A caramel amber “N,” copper back-patch edge, Abzorb midsole with Absorb SBS, high-gloss black TPU shank, and caramel rubber outsole inserts round it out, plus three lace sets (ash-black, chocolate-brown, sun-gold). Packaging follows the story: ivory box with copper-leaf sun photography, amber-liner print, and an LM.RT Melting Sun drawstring bag.
