Most brands spend money making sneakers look new. JiyongKim spent it making one look like it survived a season on a rooftop. As Hypebeast reports, PUMA and the Korean designer have officially introduced the PUMA x JiyongKim CELL Geo, dropping November 7, 2026 via PUMA, PUMA flagships, select stockists and JiyongKim's online and Seoul flagship stores, with a Japan release and pop-up at GR8 following on November 14.
JiyongKim is known for menswear that leans on sun fading, environmental stains and weather-shaped textures, and that whole process lands on the CELL Geo: aged fabrics, distressed detailing, frayed laces and special surface treatments over the shoe's sculptural upper. Underneath, it keeps the decoupled CELL heel unit and the semi-shrouded laces, so the tech still reads as futuristic while the finish reads like an archaeological dig. There's also an exclusive Black colorway in limited numbers, sold only through JiyongKim's own retail.
Our take: this is the most fashion-week CELL yet, and the mossy green outsole against the faded cream upper is genuinely beautiful. It will start arguments at dinner ("did you step in something?"), which is half the fun. Price wasn't listed in the report, so we'll update when PUMA posts it.
