A BATHING APE is getting cozy. The Tokyo label teamed up with SUBU, the Japanese brand behind those quilted winter sandals you can actually wear outside, on a Puffer Sandal covered in BAPE's ABC CAMO. Fullress reports three colors, green, blue and pink, all dropping October 31.
The shape is classic SUBU: a padded, quilted upper that looks like a sleeping bag for your foot, set on a chunky black sole so a quick run to the corner store doesn't end in wet socks. BAPE swaps the usual solid nylon for full-coverage camo, with SUBU branding on the instep. Our take: this is the most BAPE way possible to admit you just want to wear slippers all winter. The green pair goes with everything you own that already has camo on it, which for a BAPE fan is most things.
