Skip the Wallabee. A.P.C. and Clarks Originals just made their first collection together — and instead of chasing Clarks biggest hitter, they dug into two quieter archive shapes: the Desert Boot and the Weaver.

A.P.C. own collection page is live with five pairs. Desert Boots land in caramel ribbed split leather and Marron Fonce glossy leather (EUR 190). Weavers arrive in caramel and marine ribbed suede plus the same dark glossy leather (EUR 210). The ribbed suede is the point — a denim-adjacent texture that nods at A.P.C. jeans DNA without turning the shoes into costume. Each pair ships with a removable A.P.C. charm cut from the same material as the upper. Crepe soles stay classic; logos stay quiet.

British GQ and StyleRave both flagged the collab on September 23, with campaign frames shot in a lived-in bedroom rather than a white cyclorama — shoes kicked under the bed, on-model with oversized denim. Weaver hits its 50th anniversary next year; this capsule treats that countdown as texture homework, not a logo dump.
