adidas is bending its most famous logo. Per Sneaker Bar Detroit, the Supernova Rise 4 is one of the first shoes to show up with a new version of the Three Stripes that curves and tapers along the side, following an adidas trademark filing in October 2026. The shoe is reported for adidas.com at a projected $140, the same as the Rise 3. SBD's listings put the women's pairs at Holiday 2026, while the wider rollout is expected by Spring 2027, so treat the exact date as TBA.
Under the new stripes, it's still an everyday road trainer. You get a PRIMEWEAVE upper with a padded tongue, full-length DREAMSTRIKE+ foam, and a LIGHTTRAXION outsole with Continental rubber. A men's size 9 comes in around 266 grams, with an 8mm drop (37mm heel and 29mm forefoot for men, 36mm and 28mm for women). Early colorways include "Ice Blue" for men, "Ice Lavender" for women, and white/black pairs for both. The women's style codes listed so far are LB0116 White, LB0117 Blue, LB0118 Off-White and LB0119 Purple.
Our take: the running specs are solid but expected. The real story is the logo. adidas changing the shape of the Three Stripes is like Nike deciding the Swoosh could use a little more swoosh. On a fast-looking runner it works: the stripes look like they're moving even when the shoe is sitting in a box. We're curious to see how far this new mark spreads across the 2027 lineup.
