Nike ACG and Helinox Build an Ultralight Camp Kit, Out November 2 in the UK

Nike ACG has made jackets, boots and trail shoes. Now it has made somewhere to sit. The ACG x Helinox collection is a small, limited camp kit with three pieces: the Chair Zero LT, the Table Zero LT and a 17L Camp Sack. It drops first in the UK, and it's all aimed at people who weigh their gear on a kitchen scale.

The chair and table both use Helinox's Ghostgrid, a see-through monofilament mesh reinforced with a ripstop grid. It looks like something from a lab and stands up to scuffs better than you'd expect. The Chair Zero LT packs down to 534g but holds up to 120kg, thanks to a shock-corded frame of DAC TH72M aluminum and nylon resin hubs, with an X-Strap that spreads the footprint so it stays upright on sand or mud. The Table Zero LT is the lightest table Helinox makes, 254g packed and rated for 10kg, which is plenty for a stove, a coffee and your phone face down. The Camp Sack weighs 134g, is made of bluesign-certified 50D and 300D nylon ripstop, has two outer stash pockets, and folds flat. All three come in ACG orange with co-branded details, and the sack is white with orange accents.

Our take: ACG has spent years making clothes that look ready for the mountains. This is the first time it has made the thing you set up once you get there. Helinox is the right partner, because its chairs are already the gold standard for "how is this so light." The orange won't help you blend into the wilderness, but at least nobody will step on it.
