Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS spent 2026 running a four-part Tabi series, and the last chapter is a boot. The ILARGI FF Boot in "Obsidian Black" is now listed as coming soon on Kiko Kostadinov's site at $590. Fullress reports an October 31 release, with ASICS Japan carrying it at ¥93,500.
Kiko's own notes describe the idea: a traditional Japanese tabi work boot crossed with a wrestling shoe, built on the construction of the 2019 ASICS GEL-Nepxa. The upper pairs leather embossed with a linear pattern and a striped technical fabric over mesh, a nod to how the METASPEED racers are layered. The split toe stays, because of course it does. That's been the whole point of the ILARGI and LYASA run.
Our take: the first three chapters were shoes you could explain to your friends. This one is a tall black split-toe boot, and you'll be explaining it all winter. That's the Kiko deal, and the people who've followed the series this far wouldn't want it any other way.
