Salomon and The Broken Arm Go Back to the Village With the Grolle

Salomon x The Broken Arm Grolle L45536400 campaign photo on a stone wall

Paris boutique The Broken Arm is back in the Salomon lab, and this time they skipped the trail-runner look entirely. According to Fullress, the Salomon × The Broken Arm Grolle (style code L45536400) releases November 4, 2026 for €210, through The Broken Arm and Salomon, with Japanese retailers carrying it too. US pricing and stockists haven't been announced yet.

The story behind it is the world of young people growing up in small villages and the countryside, and the shoe really leans into that. The upper is built around a single piece of leather in a deep olive brown that's soft, breathes, and is supposed to pick up character the more you wear it. The eyelets are embroidered instead of punched with metal, the mudguard is brushed rubber with visible stitching, and some of the structural parts are left out in the open on purpose. Orange and red accents on the Salomon branding and the pull loop keep it from looking too serious, and the white laces pop against all that earth tone.

Our take: this is the most "I own a tractor and a gallery membership" shoe of the year, and we mean that as a compliment. While everyone else is chasing shiny tech runners, The Broken Arm made a Salomon that looks like it already has a few good stories in it. The campaign photos, shot on stone walls and in grassy fields, explain it better than we can. Expect Europe to clear these out fast.
