Nike SB keeps feeding the skate version of the Air Force 1, and the next one is the kind of pair you can wear to the park and then straight to dinner without anyone asking questions. Per Sneaker Bar Detroit, the Nike SB Air Force 1 Low "Navy/Black" drops November 13.
It's a two-tone job and nothing more. Navy suede covers just about everything, from the toe box to the side panels and overlays, with matching navy laces and lining. Black leather shows up on the Swooshes and heel tabs, and a black tongue and rubber sole close it out.
The SB tweaks are what make this more than a regular AF1 in a darker shade. Nike gave it extra cushioning and support, a wider fit, a slimmer midsole and a reworked outsole for better board feel. Bruce Kilgore drew the original as a basketball shoe back in 1982, and it's a little funny that it took this long for skaters to get a version built for them.
Our take: navy suede over a black sole is about as easy as colorways get. It won't break the internet, but it'll get worn hard all winter, and suede that dark hides grip-tape scuffs well.
