Devin Booker's Book 2 is going dark, with one shiny exception. Sneaker Files reports the Nike Book 2 "Chromaflair" (style FZ7013-003) releases November 6, 2026 for $145. It's a general release through SNKRS and Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker, Dick's and Hibbett.
The idea comes from the "Desert Night" theme Booker first used on the Book 1, a nod to Phoenix after sundown. Almost everything here is black: the mesh upper, overlays, laces, lining and midsole, plus tumbled black leather on the mudguard. The oversized Swooshes are the whole show. They have an iridescent finish that shifts between blue, purple, pink and gold depending on the light. A dark translucent outsole finishes it off, and the whole package is a lot easier to wear outside the gym than most signature colorways.
Our take: an all-black hoop shoe is usually a practical choice, the pair you buy so your mom stops asking about the scuffs. The Chromaflair Swooshes make it something you'll actually want to show off, like a black car with a pearl paint job. At $145 with a wide release, this is one of the easier Book 2s to grab, and probably the one that will look best under gym lights. Keep a cloth handy, because those Swooshes will show every fingerprint.
