Timberland Japan's Limited Release 6-Inch Premium GTX Goes Two-Tone Brown, October 30

Timberland's Japan team is back with round three of The Limited Release Collection for Fall/Winter 2026, and this time it's the boot that started it all, dressed up. The 6-Inch Premium GTX boot (Japan lists it as the Heritage 6-Inch GTX) drops first on October 30 at Timberland Boutique Tokyo in Daikanyama, then hits Timberland Japan online, select Timberland stores and authorized retailers on November 2 at 10 AM Japan time, according to Fullress. Price is ¥42,900. A US release hasn't been announced, so that's TBA for now.

The photos show a dark chocolate leather upper with a contrasting cognac-brown leather collar and heel, triple stitching and metal eyelets. Inside sits a GORE-TEX membrane instead of the usual seam-sealed setup, and the sole is a Vibram lug in that classic honey gum color. So the silhouette is the one everybody knows, but the leather and the waterproofing both got an upgrade.

Our take: you'd think there's nothing left to do with the 6-Inch, and then Timberland Japan does the two-tone brown thing and it looks like a vintage saddle. The cognac collar is the move. It reads more heritage workwear than construction site, and the Vibram plus GORE-TEX combo means it should hold up to real winter, not just the walk from the car. At ¥42,900 it's not cheap, but this is a boot you keep for ten years.

If you need a 6-Inch on your feet this week, the Timberland Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boot in Wheat is in stock at ONENESS, and the full Timberland collection is right here.
