The Ja 4 is going soft-focus for the holidays. Sneaker News has official images of the Nike Ja 4 "Blur" (style code IM4135-501), and it's set to release November 24, 2026 for $130 in men's sizes at Nike.com and select retailers like Foot Locker.
The colorway is listed as Monarch Purple/Black/Bright Crimson/Atomic Pink, and the whole point is the fade. Monarch Purple does most of the work around the heel and quarter, then melts into a pale icy blue across the forefoot, like the shoe is moving faster than the camera. Black panels anchor the heel and sole, while the reverse Swoosh and the midfoot shank both get a matte Bright Crimson hit that cuts right through all that purple.
Our take: gradients can go tacky fast, but this one stays on the right side of the line because the red is used sparingly and the black keeps it grounded. It's also a fitting name for Ja, whose whole game is getting to the rim before you finish blinking. At $130 it stays in the "buy it to actually hoop in" price range, which is where the Ja line has always made the most sense.
