Nike's Air Max Ecstasy Plus Goes Bumblebee in Citron and Black

Nike has spent the last few years digging through every drawer of the Air Max archive, and the Air Max 2000, now going by Air Max Ecstasy Plus, is one of the deeper cuts to come back. Fresh overseas studio images, first spotted by Sneaker News, show a new pair in a light citron yellow and black (JA4491-800).

The recipe is classic sporty: soft yellow overlays sweep back along the upper in those long black racing stripes, a black mesh collar and tongue keep it grounded, and a dark midsole frames the visible Air unit running heel to forefoot. A thin reflective piping traces the top line for a little Y2K shine. Our take: it's a bumblebee in the best way, loud enough to get noticed and simple enough to actually wear. If the Desert Khaki pair felt a bit too polite, this is the one that shows up to the party.
