Sneaker News has retailer images of a Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low "Coals," a matching lifestyle pair for the Protro that's set for Christmas Day. Nike hasn't announced a release date or price for the AF1 yet, so consider both TBA for now.
The upper is lenticular snakeskin in shifting shades of grey, the kind that changes depending on how the light hits it, sitting on a black midsole with black lining. Venom Green outlines the Swooshes, and Purple Venom shows up on the tongue tag and the Kobe sheath logo on the heel. The last shot even swaps in purple laces, which tells you exactly what Nike thinks you should do with it.
Our take: "Coals" is a funny name for a shoe this flashy, but that's the joke.
