Some of the best colorways start on notebook paper. This weekend in Indiana, Tyrese Haliburton laced up the PUMA Hali 1 "Teddy Lockart," a pair drawn by a young Pacers fan and turned into a real shoe — which is about as good as a get-well story gets.
The story goes back to the Pacers' Hearts for Hali campaign, which asked fans to send notes while Haliburton recovered from his Achilles injury. Teddy's letter, dated June 27, 2025, came with colored-pencil sketches of his own Hali ideas. According to the Pacers, Haliburton had one of them made and debuted it on October 4. Teddy's older brother shared the family's reaction on X, and Haliburton answered that he has a pair for Teddy. That last part is the real punchline: the kid who drew it gets to own it.

The shoe sticks close to the drawing: a black base, a white TPU cage wrapping the upper and violet on the PUMA cat logos, heel clip and outsole. As Sneaker News points out, the mix lands close to Sacramento Kings colors, but this one is all about the kid who drew it.
For now, it's a one-of-one moment. PUMA hasn't said whether the "Teddy Lockart" will get a public release, and there's no date or price. We'll update this post if that changes.
