A new invitation into race-day speed. Nike’s newsroom has introduced Swooshfly — a fresh super-shoe platform aimed at runners stepping up to their first race or chasing a new goal, not a trimmed-down Alphafly.
Per Nike’s September 30, 2026 newsroom release, Swooshfly pairs new Nike SkyX supercritical foam with a tailored carbon-fiber Flyplate, a Vaporweave upper, and a GOATEK outsole. Nike says the setup returns up to 16% more energy than Vaporfly 4 in a men’s size 10, with a more accommodating fit meant to keep the ride approachable from the 5K to the marathon.
Availability is staged: China in February 2027, then global that spring at nike.com and select retail. Pricing is positioned as more accessible than Nike’s pinnacle racing line; a firm dollar figure has not been posted in the newsroom brief.
