Flight-jacket DNA meets the diamond. New Era Japan just dropped its collab with heritage outerwear house Alpha Industries — an MLB-stamped capsule built around the classic MA-1 and team-logo headwear.

Per New Era’s official Japan newsroom, the lineup runs 10 models: MA-1 flight jackets carrying club marks (LA Dodgers heat is front and center in the launch plate) plus caps that fold Alpha’s utility language into New Era silhouettes. Founded in 1954, Alpha Industries is the American maker behind the original MA-1; New Era is using that archive read for a baseball-season outerwear hit rather than a logo slap.

The drop went live on New Era’s Japan store September 24 at 10:00 JST. Expect Japan-first allocation first; wider retail timing beyond neweracap.jp is not confirmed in the launch note.
