Miu Miu and New Balance have a new shoe. At Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris on Sunday, October 4, the two brands introduced the RC150, a racing shoe from New Balance's late-'90s archive that gets its name from its weight: just 150 grams.

Miu Miu's take keeps the shoe low and slim but takes it apart a bit. The upper is technical mesh with suede pieces, and a second set of laces runs through loops on the outside and is tied loosely at the toe. On the runway it came in bright sporty pairings like blue and yellow and green and yellow, alongside the softer, more polished colors Miu Miu describes in its show notes.

The show itself leaned all the way into sport. As Footwear News reported, the Palais d'Iéna was turned into an arena with a purple track floor and bleacher seats, and the RC150 went down the runway on a cast that included Gigi Hadid, Jamie Bell, Olivia Colman, Emma Corrin and Liu Wen. This is the fifth year of the partnership, which started with a reworked 574 for Spring/Summer 2022 and moved on to the 530 SL, including the 530 SL ballet flats released last month.

Miu Miu has already opened pre-orders for the RC150 on its US site at $1,170. According to Fashion Press and Highsnobiety, the shoe is set to release in February 2027 at select Miu Miu stores and on Miu Miu's website.
