One system for athletes who refuse to choose between the run and the floor. Nike’s newsroom has introduced Nike Hybrid — a Training footwear system built for hybrid racing and training — with Hybrid RN landing globally October 8 and Hybrid Fly set for April 2027.
Per Nike’s newsroom release, Hybrid RN is the everyday runnable trainer: ReactX foam, a forefoot Air Zoom unit, a wide outsole, and X-shaped upper overlays meant to hold through lifts and transitions. Hybrid Fly is the race-day counterpart — ZoomX, a full-length carbon Flyplate, and dual forefoot Air Zoom — aimed at the unique mix of speed and stability hybrid competition demands. China saw Hybrid RN from September 24; the global window is October 8 at nike.com and select retail.
Nike world champion hybrid athletes Lauren Weeks and Dylan Scott front the campaign — the kind of sled-to-run days that made a purpose-built pair overdue.
