Nike has officially introduced the Caitlin 1 — Caitlin Clark’s first signature basketball shoe — along with an 18-piece apparel collection built around her game. The brand’s newsroom confirmation puts China availability on September 24, 2026, and a global launch on October 1 at Nike.com, the Nike App, and select retailers.
Retail for the shoe is $140 in North America. Launch colorways include “Caitlin Blue” (style IH7423-400) and “Warning Code” (style IH7423-700), both already listed on Nike product and SNKRS pages ahead of drop day.
The Caitlin 1 is engineered around three performance asks Clark put on Nike’s design team: a quicker first step, a faster step-back, and a faster shot release. A new Nike Opticast upper uses cast polyurethane nodes at varied heights for lightweight lockdown and less drag, with a visual language that nods to the three-point arc. Underfoot, a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit sits over full-length Cushlon foam.
Personal details run deep. Opticast nodes form C’s laterally and 2s medially; stacked Swooshes and a custom tongue logo play off her initials; outsole messaging reads “Shoot More Threes,” “From Anywhere,” and “It Was Never a Long Shot.” Cement-inspired sock liners and apparel prints reference the driveway court where she stretched her range.
The apparel side brings Standard Issue Stretch to women hoopers for the first time, plus Aero-FIT performance pieces, jackets, hoodies, and tees — eighteen looks meant to move from practice to street.
