MM6 Maison Margiela SS27 Puts a Sixth Toe on Havaianas

Six toes, six soles, one Milan joke that landed. MM6 Maison Margiela’s Spring 2027 show at Palazzo Mezzanotte turned everyday dressing into a rearrangeable kit — shirts worn as dresses, trousers flipped into mini panniers — and rolled out a first look at its Havaianas collab on the runway.

Per Hypebeast and WWD’s Milan coverage, the footwear gag is pure MM6 math: the Slim 6Toe adds a surreal sixth toe to the classic thong, while the runway-only Top 6Layers stacks six differently shaped Havaianas soles into a platform. Wider retail for the collab is expected May 2027; the stacked platform stays show-only.

On the apparel side, the studio kept pushing garments that refuse a single job description — football-style “6” thermals, six-button peacoats, low-crotch jeans shoved up to spotlight the flip-flops. It is modular dressing with a sense of humor, not a costume party.
