Winter boot season has officially reached the Spezial line. adidas just revealed its Fall/Winter 2026 SPZL lineup, and the first pair out of the gate is the Wetherlam SPZL in "Sand Green / Utility Black / Mesa" (KK0721). It launches November 6 for $180, and yes, it's dropping right here at ONENESS.
The Wetherlam is a hiking-coded boot built for actual weather. Highsnobiety reports it uses adidas' Aditex membrane, the brand's in-house take on waterproof-but-breathable, under a mix of suede, leather and textile. Underneath sits a chunky, grippy rubber sole. The colorway is a muted sage green with black and earthy brown accents, which is exactly the palette you want when November starts getting mean.
Our take: SPZL has a habit of making outdoor gear look like it never leaves the city, and the Wetherlam keeps that streak going. It sits in the same family as the Winterhill, Grisedale and Helvellyn boots, so if you liked any of those, this is the next one on the shelf. It's the rare boot that can handle a slushy crosswalk and still look good at dinner afterward. Your Sambas can stay home and stay dry.
Highsnobiety also says the wider FW26 SPZL drop includes a Samba-style Hawaii, the Boston II Outdoor, Albrecht II and Halewood SPZL, so the Wetherlam is just the opener.
